New things you're saying and doing: "Oh Shoot!" Also if mommy or daddy say oh shoot or are struggling in some way you say, "What Mommy?!" it sounds more like vhat since you don't have your "w" sound down yet : )
You are also learning to sing, "Elmo's World" and the Sesame St theme song. You LOVE dancing and especially like CeeLo Green - "Forget You."
Favorite books right now are Elmo's Favorite Places, 100 First Words, the Crayola ABC book, and the Little People farm book. You also love playing w your kitchen and in the dirt in the front of the house.
We recently had your first zoo visit. We went w Teresa, Madison & Abigail. We had so much fun!

More new words & phrases...

You're saying "Cool" a lot if you like something. You can say your ABCs but you always skip V : ) You've been saying "Jack Do" and "Help?" when there is something that you'd like to help us with. Everything that is too hard is "Heavy!"
The other day we were getting ready for bed and you've come up with a new routine on Mommy's Bed. We had people over so I was trying to hurry you along but you protested by squirming out of your diaper and saying "naked baby!" So I let you do your naked baby dance to music on the clock radio : )
We also went to the museum last week and I asked you, "Jackson do you want to go to the museum?!" You thought really hard for a minute and said, "Mommy, zoo-mey (museum) Yo Gabba Gabba?" You remembered the Yo Gabba Gabba dolls in the museum shop window from months ago! And you don't even watch that show! You're amazing! Also, we've taught you today that Johnny is in Vegas & Auntie is on a "big boat!"

Cute baby story...must tell

So last night I came home to a baby who was so engulfed in Barney that he was ignoring my need for many hugs & many kisses after not seeing him all day! When he finally snapped out of it, I said, "Hey! I have not got 1 kiss or 1 hug from you! What the heck! You come here!" Then the very cute baby said, "How about......10?!" I think Mommy and Daddy both melted right then and there....

Jack & Mommy Day

I love our Jack & Mommy days so much. Today was so simple, but my idea of a perfect. We went to the museum after breakfast. You had so much fun at Sesame St/Elmo's World w Mr. Noodle, driving the taxi cab, and dancing. We also rode the train for first time. You were scared at first but quickly recovered and then didn't want to get off : ) You played w the model trains and loved looking at the huge fish tank. We went upstairs and colored a picture for Daddy.
You quickly fell asleep on the way home and napped at home as well. We had lunch and then you "exercised" w Mommy!!! You were so cute copying the moves! You quickly lost interest but played w your trains so I could finish : ) You are such a great boy!!
We then took a shower/bath. Your bathroom is being remodeled so you are bathing in a Rubbermaid bin (& loving it!!!!)
After getting clean, we started dinner. You stood on your stool and "helped" Mommy. I gave you some snacks and let you play in the utensil drawer to stay occupied! You are so cute, wanting to help w everything. You even say "help" now after we tell say what we're doing : )
Daddy got home late but you ate a great dinner first and we ate later. You had some whole wheat pasta w butter & Parmesan, asparagus, and some chicken breast. You've had such a HUGE APPETITE lately. For example...today's menu. Breakfast: toast w pb& j, milk and one whole banana. Snack: Cheerios, Second snack/1st lunch: 1 rice cake, cheese stick, several carrots & peas, juice (would have been more but we were on our way home from the museum and that's all I brought!) Lunch: 2 slices of turkey, entire yogurt, entire clementine, & wheat thins. Another snack: popcorn chips, more cheese stick, 1/2 of an apple, water. Then above mentioned dinner. THEN...blueberries before bed : ) Books and night-night. Love you Boosy!!! You are the greatest & I am truly so lucky to have been blessed w you.
