You are amazing
Today I watched you playing in awe. I cannot believe the amazing little boy you've become. You will be two in four months...it's so unbelievable how fast time has gone by.
As you were playing, counting, & talking away I felt myself float out of the moment and really grasp how amazing life is. I think you are the best possible thing that could have ever happened to me.

Angel Baby
I'm having a hard time leaving you this am : ( It's tough when I'm with you for four days in a row, then away for 3. I shouldn't complain, most mothers have a 2:5 day ratio.
You have been so amazing lately. Your personality is blossoming more everyday as we watch you move from our baby to a little boy. It's bittersweet. It's so cool to be able to communicate with you and witness you learn about the world. But I miss rocking you, feeding you, and holding you.
Today you pulled out a plastic pear from you play kitchen fridge & said - "Ta-Da!!" You cooked me some corn on the stove and gave me a plate full of fruits & veggies : ) You are saying "Peeeease" &"Tank oo" (thank you!) I'm so proud of the way daddy & I have raised you so far. I know it sounds more like the ramblings of a "braggy" parent but you really are SO SMART!!!!! At 20 months you can count to 20 and can recognize almost every letter, A-Z! You are way beyond most babies your age.
All of that aside, I have a love for you that I never knew I was capable of having for anyone other than your daddy. You are truly my Angel Baby, sent from God to make us smile : )

Today Daddy started a blog for us to document all of the cool things you are doing! Today, while coloring I started writing the alphabet & you named almost every letter! At 20 months, that's pretty impressive! You are also able to count to 20 (with a little help). We are so proud of you Jack Jack!
