Last day of Kindergarten

Today was one of those really, really emotional parent days.....Jackson's last day of kindergarten. Reasons to cry: growing up too fast, leaving great friends and a great school, but mostly catching a quick glance outside of the moment. That moment when you feel just how special and important it is to be your child's parent. Jackson, you will always be my baby and my littlest best friend. We are so incredibly proud of how hard you worked and all of your accomplishments this year, and always. I can't wait to see where life takes you!

You are so smart!!!!

Today you said, oh my gosh the movies are so expensive, it's like $5 a ticket. I said, it's actually more like ten! You said, oh wow they can make $100 dollars pretty fast. If they had 20 people come they could make $200 dollars!! I told you how proud I was of you and how smart you are. You said, one word mom, S-C-H-O-O-L. Oh my gosh!!!! 6 year-old genius!

Easton Anthony

Here he is at 5 months old already! Amazing! Already so much fun. Jackson loves being a big brother and is really good with him. Easton is fascinated with everything Jackson died and is always smiling at him. We visited Sittie for her bday at school today and Jackson was so proud to show off his little brother to KSP. Greg came in later as the "mystery reader" in class. Jackson loved it. 

Easton at 5 months:

Rolling over both ways, spinning on back, smiling, laughing (a little), cooing. Putting everything in his mouth, lots of chewing, drooling, etc. 

likes: mommyoatmeal, sweet potatoes, lots of attention (mama's boy), The song Happy by Pharell, singing, music, musical toys.

dislikes: sleeping during the day, 

Mom is going to hatch

Massimo: Wow you sure have a lot of toys.

J: Yeah and I'll have even more when my baby brother starts to get toys.

M: Where's your baby brother?

J: He's inside of my mom.

M: Oh. 

J: He's going to hatch on October 12th. 

M: Oh cool.

When I grow up

"When I grow up I want to be an air traffic controller and a guitar player......I might sell a little bit of wine too."

Wake up

6:05 this am:

"Wake up, Mom." (As you peel open my eyelids)

"Stop that Jackson, I'm still sleepy"

"But Mom, don't you want to see my beautiful face?"
